Earlean Weatherspoon Wallace,78, of Liberty, MS departed this earthly life of December 17, 2021, at Liberty Community Living Center in Liberty, MS. Visitation 5:00pm – 7:00pm Wednesday, December 29th at Peoples Undertaking Co. service Thursday, December 30th 11:00am at Parson Hill MB Church burial in Rosehill Missionary Baptist Church cemetery Meadville, MS. With Pastor Willie Jones officiating. Earlean Weatherspoon Wallace was born on August 10, 1944, in Liberty, MS to the late Corey Weatherspoon and Lela Knox Weatherspoon. She attended Amite School Center in Liberty, MS she worked at Avondele Shipyard in New Orleans, LA for a short time. She met Nathaneil Wallace in 1991. The two united In holy matrimony in 1992. As a child she was baptized at Rose Hill Baptist Church in Meadville, MS. Latter in Life she joined Parson Hill MB Churchin Liberty, MS under the leadership of Rev. Willie Jones. Sis. Earlean was a homemaker for most of her life exemplifying the Proverb of a wise woman” Who builds her house with her hands.” One of her joys was her family. She worked tireless and willing to help anyone who crossed her path. She is appreciated by everyone in her community. She was the type of sister, neighbor, mother, friend, and grandmother we needed. One call was all ot tokk because she surely was coming. Sis Earlran Weatherspoon Wallaxe fought the good fight against a lengthy illness for 4 years and she finished her course at 6:30am on December 17, 2021.She was preceded in death by her parents Carey Weatherspoon and Lela Knox Weatherspoon; one daughter Evelyn Faye McKnight; one brother George Weatherspoon, and one sister Jeanette Joseph. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband: Nathaniel Wallace of Liberty, MS ; one daughter: Shirley Collins of Liberty, MS; four grandchildren: Azelia (Jeremiah) Franklin of Liberty, MS, Roderick (Lashonda) McKnight of Byram, MS, Otis (Veronica) Collins of Brookhaven, MS, and Latonya (Kendrick) McKnight of Amite, LA;10 great-grandchildren: Tykescaria Lenior, Kami McKnight, Janiah Franklin, Todjrick McKnight, Jarrick McKnight, Kenya McKnight, Ro’Derrick McKnight, Heaven Collins, Adrina Jackson, Okerria Collins, one sister: Brenda (Scott) Weatherspoon Graves of Liberty, MS; four brothers: C. W. (Sherry) Weatherspoon of Liberty, MS, Roosevelt (Julie) Weatherspoon of New Orleans, LA; James (Alma) Weatherspoon of Kentwood, LA,and William Weatherspoon of Seattle, WA and a host of nieces, nephews’ other relatives and dear friends. We will continue to follow the CDC guidelines, Mask and Social Distancing will be required upon entering the facility. Services entrusted to Peoples Undertaking Co.
